• Cardano Foundation introduces the Blockchain Education Alpha Program. Individuals, especially the Cardano Vietnam community, lack a systematically designed resource to start learning fundamental blockchain knowledge. They can participate in this course.
• Cardano Foundation's course is published in English, which poses a language barrier for the Cardano Vietnam community. Additionally, some technical terms in the field may be new and easily misunderstood. These factors hinder the widespread adoption of this excellent course within the entire Cardano Vietnam community.
• This proposal directly engages the Cardano Vietnam community and strongly disseminates the course content to reach a wide audience. Furthermore, it also targets newcomers in Vietnam who are interested in entering the blockchain industry (such as: developers, newbies, enthusiast,…), bringing them to the Cardano ecosystem.
• I will translate the content of the Blockchain Education Alpha Program into Vietnamese, publish it on Gitbook, create doodle videos, and publish them on YouTube. The community will be able to learn the course in Vietnamese, similar to the program on the Cardano Foundation website. We believe that this is an effective solution for providing blockchain education to the Cardano Vietnam community. The course will serve as a solid starting point for anyone who joins Cardano.
• My proposal combines the desire to widely spread out the course to the Cardano Vietnam community with the use of engaging and interesting doodle animations, which are currently trending, to create an enjoyable learning experience for viewers. This approach helps fulfill the mission that the course from the Cardano Foundation aims to achieve (make blockchain education accessible for all, ensure everyone receives clear and relevant information, provide the resources to support blockchain adoption).

How does your proposed solution address the challenge and what benefits will this bring to the Cardano ecosystem?

• My proposal addresses objective “Technical documentation & education” in “Development & Infrastructure” Challenge.
• The proposal aims to eliminate the language barrier and enable the Cardano Vietnam community, as well as individuals, to access the meticulously curated course from the Cardano Foundation. This will allow them to enhance their knowledge in the field of blockchain, thereby bringing valuable contributions to the Cardano ecosystem.

Here are the benefits that this proposal brings to the Cardano ecosystem

• Providing a relevant, open-source course: The course is designed with structured modules that progress from general knowledge to more detailed concepts, providing learners with a comprehensive overview of blockchain technology. It is free and open-source, allowing learners to share it with others both within and outside the community, contributing to the expansion of the Cardano Vietnam community.
• Enhancing the level of blockchain knowledge within the Cardano Vietnam community: By acquiring knowledge from the course, the overall knowledge level within the community will be elevated, eliminating misunderstandings and misconceptions that currently exist in the industry. Everyone will have the ability to independently analyze and evaluate the technological strengths and weaknesses of blockchain platforms, gaining a clear understanding of Cardano's vision, advantages, and potential.
• Bringing people into the Cardano community: Cardano is a blockchain platform that has garnered attention in Vietnam and the Cardano Vietnam community is large. Individuals (such as: newbies, investors, developers,…) who aspire to enter the blockchain field first desire to grasp the fundamental knowledge of the domain they will be involved in. This course will address their needs by providing them with the necessary foundation. Additionally, it will introduce them to the Cardano community, indirectly immersing them into the Cardano ecosystem.

How do you intend to measure the success of your project?

• Number of units translated
• Number of videos published
• Number of views on the Gitbook page
• Number of channel subscriptions, followers, views, likes, comments, and shares on the YouTube channel.
• Number of individuals from the Cardano Vietnam community who know and complete the e-certificate of the course from the Cardano Foundation.

Please describe your plans to share the outputs and results of your project?

• The translated course content and doodle videos will be published in the following 4-month plan include: 134 pages of documentation, 18 doodle videos. The project will publish at least one Unit and one doodle video per week.
• The project’s outputs will be share on Gitbook page and Youtube Channel. In addition, the outputs will be sharied to major Cardano communities in Vietnam such as: StakingADA-Fimi, Fimi - Development Team, Cardano Vietnam Official, Cardano ADA Vietnam.
• After finishing this project, I expected to expand some content to reach as many as people to this course (such as: Youtube shorts, podcast) and translate/create doodle for other free, open-source course from Cardano to Vietnam community (Plutus, Marlowe,…).

What is your capability to deliver your project with high levels of trust and accountability?

My capabilities:

• Join blockchain from 2021
• Member of StakingADA-Fimi group, a high quality community in Vietnam talking about Cardano
• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering in Bach Khoa University
• Completed the Cardano Blockchain Certified Associate (CBCA) Alpha Program 2 (Certificate ID: 6495882936398daa3209b8be).
• Using Vbee AI and Doodly proficiently.

To be honest, my capabilities is not oustanding. I know and research Cardano blockchain from 2021 and this is the first time I have partipated in Project Catalyst. My desire is to help Cardano Vietnam community participate the Blockchain Education Alpha Program course easier. So, i am so happy if my proposal can be funded, if not, i still bring this course to the Cardano Vietnam community and join next funds.

My proposal has only 1 member and no idea in the previous funds. So, i can accept any challenge to be trusted (cost and proposal' progress will be breakdown clearly in the next questions). I will follow SoM guidance and implement if my proposal is funded, also, accept the form of funding at a symbolic level (ex: 1 ADA per milestone below) and receive the funding when completing a milestone.

What are the main goals for the project and how will you validate if your approach is feasible?

Main goals:

• Completing the translation of the Blockchain Education Alpha Program into Vietnamese following detailed breakdown of my project.
• Completing 18 doodle videos (for 5 modules) describing the course.
• Publishing and sharing the translated course with major Cardano communities in Vietnam such as: StakingADA-Fimi, Cardano Vietnam Official, Cardano ADA Vietnam

Other goals

• Achieving at least 2000 reaches to translated course on Gitbook page and Youtube channel. I can measure this metrics through Google Analytics tool embed in Gitbook page and Analytics on Youtube channel.
• Increasing the number of individuals from the Vietnamese community who achieve the e-certificate upon completing the Blockchain Education Alpha Program course from Cardano Foundation.

In addition, I will provide monthly progress reports to Project Catalyst.

Please provide a detailed breakdown of your project’s milestones and each of the main tasks or activities to reach the milestone plus the expected timeline for the delivery.

This project presents the Blockchain Education Alpha Program course via documentation and videos

Total 134 pages include:

• 8 pages of glossary, approximately 2 pages for a set of 25 final course assessment questions
• 124 pages of lesson content

Total 18 doodle videos: equivalent to 180 minutes, 3 hours of study (Official course on Cardano Foundation website presents 5 videos).This proposal suggests dividing the 3-hour study time into 18 videos, approximately 10 minutes each, to maintain learners' focus and enhance their ability to absorb knowledge from the lessons.

This project lasts 4 months. Here is 4 milestones to achieve:

Milestone 1 (from October-01-2023 to October-31-2023)

• Translate Glossary, Unit 1, Unit 2 and a part of Unit 3.1 into Vietnamese. Total 34 pages
• Four doodle videos include: two videos for Unit 1, one video for Unit 2, one video for a part of Unit 3. Each video lasts around 10 minutes, approximately 40 minutes of study.

After completing Milestone 1, this project will publish 34 translated pages and 4 doodle videos (around 10 minutes per video). Achieve at least 500 viewers per videos and access to Gitbook page. Total cost for milestone 1 is 10811 (ADA), approximately 22.5% total budget of proposal.

Milestone 2 (from November-01-2023 to November-30-2023)

• Translate the remaining part of Unit 3, Unit 4, and Unit 4.1 into Vietnamese. Total 26 pages
• Five doodle videos include: two videos for the remaining part of Unit 3, one video for Unit 4.0, two videos for Unit 4.1. Each video lasts around 10 minutes, approximately 50 minutes of study.

After completing Milestone 2, this project will publish 26 translated pages and 5 doodle videos (around 10 minutes per video). Achieve at least 500 viewers per videos and access to Gitbook page. Total cost for milestone 2 is 13015 (ADA), approximately 27.1% total budget of proposal.

Milestone 3 (from December-01-2023 to December-31-2023)

• Translate Unit 4.2, Unit 4.3, Unit 5.0, and Unit 5.1 into Vietnamese. Total 36 pages
• Five doodle videos include: one video for Unit 4.2, one video for Unit 4.3, one video for Unit 5.0 , two videos Unit 5.1. Each video lasts around 10 minutes, approximately 50 minutes of study.

After completing Milestone 3, this project will publish 36 translated text pages and 5 doodle videos (around 10 minutes per video). Achieve at least 500 viewers per videos and access to Gitbook page. Total cost for milestone 3 is 13265 (ADA), approximately 27,7% total budget of proposal.

Milestone 4 (from January-01-2024 to January-31-2024)

• Translate Unit 5.2, Unit 5.3, Unit 5.4, and a set of 25 final course assessment questions into Vietnamese. Total 38 pages
• Five doodle videos include: one video for Unit 5.2, one video for Unit 5.3, two videos for Unit 5.4. Each video lasts around 10 minutes, approximately 40 minutes of study.

After completing Milestone 4, this project will publish 38 translated pages and 4 doodle videos (around 10 minutes per video). Achieve at least 500 viewers per videos and access to Gitbook page Total cost for milestone 4 is 10911 (ADA), approximately 22,7% total budget of proposal.

The project workflow will be as follows:

1. Translate the course content into Vietnamese and publish it on Gitbook, seeking feedback and suggestions from the community.
2. Doodle video production process:

• Scriptwriting (with reference to the presentation from the Cardano Foundation's course).
• Prepare visuals (drawings, charts, etc.).
• Use Vbee AI to generate voice.
• Edit the video using Doodly.
• Publish the video on the YouTube channel, embed it into Gitbook, and share it with the community.
• Update the project progress following link

This workflow will be repeated for each unit in the course, with 1 translated lesson and 1-2 videos per unit. In total, there will be 12 unit and 18 videos (except Glossary and a set of 25 final course assessment questions only translated), until the project is completed.

How does the cost of the project represent value for money for the Cardano ecosystem?

Following my proposal:

• Total cost for translation: 25 ADA/page (include publish). It's lower than popular price and some proposal funded before in Catalyst.
• Total cost for doodle video: 2404 ADA/video, equivalent to 240 ADA/minute for an average 10-min doodle video, approximately 70$/minute. It's lower than average rate, (100$-300$/minute for a doodle animation video).

In addition, I use Vbee AI for voiceover and Doodly to maximize cost savings. Normally, we need to have a voiceover (cosuming about 500$ for 10-min voice) and an editor (cosuming at leat 100$ for only editing).

As I presented in my capability, this is the first time i have joined Project Catalyst. So, I request a minimum budget to prove my capabilities in advance.
