Solution

We are building a dashboard to display all your wallet and DeFi information in one clean, simple interface. Aggregating marketplace data to allow a holistic view of your decentralized life.

Problem

Cardano needs to simplify its user experience. There are too many cluttered dApps, wallets and data feeds. Users need a simple, elegant, data aggregator for all things Cardano.

Atrium - The Center of Everything

Please describe your proposed solution.

There are some fantastic applications, marketplaces, and exchanges, being built on Cardano. The problem is which is best? Which has the lowest fees? Which has the best price for your NFT’s, or the most liquidity for your exchanges. The problem is the user experience here is lacking, and the need to traverse multiple sites leads to inefficient markets and a waste of users' time. Many wallet apps are cluttered and overly complex for most users, stake pools browsers have way to much on display at any one time making it overwhelmingly complex for most to choose a pool.

In short, Cardano needs to simplify.

Atrium is the place you visit first when you open up your laptop. Before you open Twitter, before you check your email. It is the home of all your wallet's activity, the central room that connects to your decentralized life.

It shows how your NFT portfolio is doing, what has sold recently, where similar items are trading and what the estimated value is. It shows your yield products performance, and where you can find other opportunities across the market. Your staking returns can be found in a simplified format, alongside a viewfinder to browser pools. It shows where to get the best deals on swaps and where the liquidity lies. Simply connect your wallet, and see all your activity in one clean, easy-to-navigate application.

We aim to act as an aggregator, trawling multiple Cardano marketplaces to find the best deals, and the most up-to-date information relevant to your wallet.

Doing this benefits end users by making things simpler, but it also helps to create more efficient markets as arbitrage opportunities are spotted quicker.

Please describe how your proposed solution will address the Challenge that you have submitted it in.

The Blockchain Ecosystem is growing at an exponential rate. With this, comes many applications, projects, websites, and sources. This increases the difficulty and time of individuals in finding these tools and keeping up with new tools as they emerge.

What are the main risks that could prevent you from delivering the project successfully and please explain how you will mitigate each risk?

New project and applications are being developed at a rapid pace.

Integration: This means we may need to work with many projects, new and existing, to ensure integrations, APIs, and similar functionality is available.

Application Volume: There will also be the need to communicate and have constant awareness on an ongoing basis of new projects being developed.

Please provide a detailed plan, including timeline and key milestones for delivering your proposal.

Plan:

  • We will launch our application that will integrate and provide a central location and aggregator for DEX’s, NFT Projects, Liquidity and Lending Protocols.
  • Users will be able to come to Atrium find not only a list of projects under any certain protocol, but also be able to find the best value and more.

Timeline:

  • 2022 Q3-Q4: Launch site with integration of existing DEX and NFT Marketplaces
  • 2022 Q4-2023Q1: Expand integration with project launching in Q3 and Q4

If you are funded, will you return to Catalyst in a later round for further funding? Please explain why / why not.

We may return for funding if determine for the requirement of new features and development, as the ecosystem grows and expands. New functionality, products, or features may require monetary support for equipment, personnel, and or similar necessities.

Please describe what you will measure to track your project's progress, and how will you measure these?

  • Site launch and access
  • First DEX integration and NFT integration

What does success for this project look like?

Metrics and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

  • Project success will be based on user interaction. We will track user mapping and access on a weekly and monthly basis.
  • Project success will also be determined by features and integrations on Atrium
  • 1 DEX and 1 NFT marketplace - initial launch
  • 2 DEX and 2 NFT by the end of the first quarter launch
  • Other ideas….

Please provide information on whether this proposal is a continuation of a previously funded project in Catalyst or an entirely new one.

This is a new project, and not a continuation of any previous project.
