Solution

We’re building an all-in-one interface that teaches the user about blockchain and seamlessly displays their tokens, NFTs, and staking data.

Problem

Atrium Dashboard - The Heart of Cardano

Please describe your proposed solution.

Âtrium is an all-in-one, user-friendly front-end interface for the Cardano blockchain that serves as a one-stop solution for users to access various financial applications. By consolidating these features into a single, easy-to-use platform, Âtrium aims to lower the barriers to entry for new users while providing a seamless experience for existing users.

Our core guiding principles are:

  1. Simplify the user experience for Cardano application
  2. Build tools to encourage further decentralization on the network
  3. Connect the community and its applications in one easy-to-use interface
  4. Educate both new and existing users to empower the network

We see Âtrium as the tool you recommend to new members of the network. The application you use to check in with your assets and with its community members. The place you come to learn more about Cardano. We see it as a home for Cardano.

Our dashboard allows users to connect via Eternl, Nami, or by pasting an ADA address / Adahandle. From there users are presented with a minimal overview of the contents of their wallet, with tokens and NFT values aggregated to provide estimates of their worth. Staking data is also provided. From the dashboard view you can drill down deeper into Cardano tooling. A wallet functionality allows users to send and receive. The NFT page displays all your assets, with top level data about the contents of your wallet. The same exists for tokens. A staking page shows users their current staking data, and also allows users to stake to other pools.

This dashboard is the foundational set of tools we needed to build in order to begin growing our vision for what Âtrium will become, which is the beating heart of Cardano community.

How does your proposed solution address the challenge and what benefits will this bring to the Cardano ecosystem?

This proposal will fund the future development of the Atrium Dashboard. The development has been skillfully crafted to produce a silky smooth experience for users, utilizing animations and glows to make navigating Âtrium a delightful experience. This dashboard is a red carpet experience for both new and existing Cardano users and we are sure you will love it.

How do you intend to measure the success of your project?

Users and the feedback we receive will be our source of information regarding the success of the dashboard. We will be diving deep into UX with surveys and questionnaires to improve the dashboard, recognizing user demands and issues along the way.

Please describe your plans to share the outputs and results of your project?

We will be releasing a closed alpha very shortly to a small group of friends and family for testing. After our alpha, we will be bug fixing and making adjustments in time to release our private beta to a slightly larger cohort of testers and community members. Following this we will release a public beta for wider community feedback.

What is your capability to deliver your project with high levels of trust and accountability?

Our core team consists of multiple decades of front end, back end and full-stack experience, security experts and award winning designers with experience working for some of the largest most recognised brands in the world. Our founder Peyton, is the operator behind Bloom, one of the largest stake pools in the ecosystem responsible for minting the 8th block on the Cardano blockchain. All team members are Cardano community natives, with a love for the community and a united vision in building products that serve the ecosystem.

What are the main goals for the project and how will you validate if your approach is feasible?

The main goals of this proposal is to release a working dashboard that allows users to connect via Eternl/Nami/Address/Adahandle, send and receive ada and tokens/nfts. View their assets, stake and access staking resources. If we deliver this we will be successful. We know our approach is feasible as we have built 95% of this over the past year and are in the final bug fixing for the alpha release now.

Please provide a detailed breakdown of your project’s milestones and each of the main tasks or activities to reach the milestone plus the expected timeline for the delivery.

How does the cost of the project represent value for money for the Cardano ecosystem?

As the cryptocurrency space continues to grow and evolve, it has become increasingly challenging for both newcomers and experienced users to navigate the complex landscape of decentralized applications (dApps), wallets, and available platforms. The learning curve associated with understanding and utilizing blockchain technology remains a barrier to entry for many potential users, hindering the mass adoption of cryptocurrencies and blockchain-based services. Early tech adopters are mostly familiar with blockchains, but we are moving rapidly into a stage where less tech-savvy users will be trying out this technology. We want to make sure when they arrive, the red carpet is laid out and they are welcomed with open arms.
