The proposed solution would be a Chrome extension that would build upon the Artem App (funded in Fund 7) allowing access to the users NFT collection and associated metadata. The Extension would allow for the user to query their wallets, without needing to recover the wallet, and access the NFTs and Tokens the wallet holds. A dedicated IPFS server would be built to support downloading NFTs.
This Chrome Extension would allow for convenient access to a users NFTs and Tokens. Integrations would be made with Google Photos, and other third party storage applications to allow users to share their collection with others and create gallery albums to be used on digital picture frame devices. For the users privacy, no data would be collected or stored remotely.
Building trust in the product will be a dominant risk. Blockchain technology is still relatively new, many new users will not fully grasp that the contents of every wallet are viewable and a key feature of the blockchain to promote audibility and transparency. Because of this, we anticipate that trust will need to be established with the user to ensure that they are aware that the extension would not have the ability to sell/transfer any of their assets.
Additionally the general performance of IPFS can pose a risk for wallets that contain a large collection of NFTs/tokens. A dedicated IPFS server should help with stable and performance responses.
