Please describe your proposed solution.
Connect street artists, activists - Artivists and their followers, with the global Cardano community, impact projects, and other street art collectives and street artists.
As part of the activities of Streets of ADA - A Samsudin Brothers Projek, and being a Cardano4Good and Blockchain4Good advocate, we have been actively working to onboard communites, art collectives, artists into the digital economy and help them understand the advantages now on offer to them: https://www.instagram.com/p/Cur8X0so8ow/utm_source=ig_web_copy_link&igshid=MzRlODBiNWFlZA==

Above, at Spot 13 in Paris, I spoke with Duro Duris, an artist from Prague, who at his own expense, and having been vetted and accepted by non profit Street art collective Spot 13, has been given a space to create his art. As an artivist, his intentions with his piece was to speak to the paradox of climate change and our behaviours as humans. How as the ice melts, humanity continues to play games, with the depiction of the hockey players symbolising the 'skating on thin ice' reality we are living in as a species.
Through further conversations around how he supports himself and makes a living, and how the street artists and Spot 13 are operating, they face similar challenges to activists and NGOs around the world.
Speaking with Joko, President of Spot 13 about the opportunities for digital transformation to help support their mission and artists.
"L'espèce humaine a un besoin viscéral de s'exprimer, d'inscrire ses messages sur les murs, même si c'est pour graver sur un tronc d'arbre "Juliette je t'aime", c'est inhérent à l'homme. Je fais juste en sorte de canaliser cette envie pour créer quelque chose de beau et d'accessible à tous."
Joko - Président de Spot 13
"The human species has a visceral need to express itself, to inscribe its messages on the walls, even if it is to engrave on a tree trunk "Juliette je t'aime", it is inherent in the man. I'm just trying to channel this desire to create something beautiful and accessible to all."
Joko - President of Spot 13

Our solution seeks to connect the dots that are currently unconnected, and bring high quality and highly inspirational artivists into the Cardano community, by integrating them into the Streets of ADA Universe - A Samsudin Brothers Projek Universe, and also creating pathways for artists and collectives to enjoy whitelabel solutions, and connect with others that share common values.
How does your proposed solution address the challenge and what benefits will this bring to the Cardano ecosystem?
This will bring greater adoption of Cardano4Good tools through organic growth.
With a values driven approach, led at the grassroots level by street art collectives, and artists who create art as activism - hence "artivists", synergy with the global and local Cardano community can help amplify the message inherent in the art created by the artists, and enable artists to scale the visibility of their work and build a global community of supporters, fans and patrons around their talent and work.
How do you intend to measure the success of your project?
KPIs:
- number of street artists signing up to the Streets of ADA Street Artist Collective
- number of wallets opened
- number of art pieces/murals created promoting the synergy between the Art as Activism movement and the Cardano4Good movement
Please describe your plans to share the outputs and results of your project?
We will share our updates on social media platforms (twitter, linked in, facebook, YouTube), and through updates on twitterspaces such as the Cardano for Good twitterspace hosted by Sustainable ADA and co-hosted and moderated by Cardano Spot and Miguel.
