AI Future Connect: Bridging Web2 and Web3 through AI and Blockchain

Please describe your proposed solution

An interactive AI event that connects Web2 and Web3 with the Cardano blockchain, highlighting synergies and innovation opportunities.

Please define the positive impact your project will have on the wider Cardano community

The project will bring Web2 and Web3 communities together, demonstrating AI applications in blockchain and accelerating Cardano adoption. Impact will be measured by the number of participants and cross-sector collaboration.

What is your capability to deliver your project with high levels of trust and accountability? How do you intend to validate if your approach is feasible?

The team has previous experience organizing tech events and working with AI and blockchain. We have validated feasibility through prior analysis and collaboration with industry experts.

What are the key milestones you need to achieve in order to complete your project successfully?

Milestone 1: A: Milestone Outputs

  • Enhancement of the existing Cardano newsletter to include sections dedicated to AI and blockchain technologies.
  • Increase the number of subscribers to 20,000.
  • Deliver valuable content related to advancements in AI, blockchain, Web3, and practical use cases relevant to the Cardano ecosystem.

B: Acceptance Criteria

  • The newsletter must maintain a professional design with regular publication frequency (monthly or weekly).
  • At least 20,000 active subscribers registered in the database.
  • An open rate of at least 30% and a minimum click-through rate of 10% on the content sent.

C: Evidence of Milestone Completion

  • Reports from the email marketing platform (such as Mailchimp or Substack) showing subscriber growth for the Cardano newsletter.
  • Screenshots of key metrics like open rates and clicks specifically for the AI and blockchain content.
  • Samples of the enhanced newsletters sent, including performance statistics.
  • Documentation of the strategies used to attract subscribers, such as social media campaigns, collaborations, and paid advertising that leverage the existing Cardano brand.

Milestone 2: Milestone: Initiate the development of an AI specialized in decentralized and open-source technologies during the hackathon.

A: Milestone Outputs

  • Establish a development team during the hackathon focused on creating the AI for decentralized and open-source technologies.
  • Outline a project plan and roadmap for the AI development.
  • Develop a functional prototype of the AI by the end of the hackathon.

B: Acceptance Criteria

  • A clear project plan and roadmap are documented, outlining the development stages and key milestones.
  • A functional prototype of the AI demonstrating basic capabilities and functionalities.
  • Feedback collected from participants and stakeholders on the prototype and development process.

C: Evidence of Milestone Completion

  • Meeting notes and documentation from the hackathon detailing team discussions and decisions made.
  • Progress reports highlighting the development stages and prototype functionalities.
  • Feedback forms or testimonials from participants regarding the AI prototype and its potential impact on decentralized technologies.

Milestone 3: Milestone: Create a streaming channel to broadcast the entire event, talks, etc.

  • A: Milestone outputs

  • A fully configured streaming channel (e.g., on platforms like YouTube, Twitch, or a custom solution).

  • Live broadcast of the event, including all scheduled talks, panels, and activities.

  • Recordings of event sessions available for later viewing.

  • B: Acceptance criteria

  • The channel must be accessible and functional at least one week before the event for testing.

  • A continuous live broadcast must occur throughout the event with minimal significant interruptions.

  • Recordings of sessions must be available on the channel within 24 hours after the event.

  • The broadcast quality must be at least 720p, with clear audio and no echo.

  • C: Evidence of milestone completion

  • Screenshots of the configured channel and active links to it.

  • Recordings of the event demonstrating the live broadcast, along with audience interaction data (number of viewers, live comments, etc.).

  • Quality reports demonstrating the stability of the broadcast and viewer satisfaction.

  • Post-event surveys showing viewer satisfaction regarding the quality of the broadcast.

Milestone 5: Evaluate impact and prepare for future editions.

Final Milestone: Final Milestone: Evaluate impact and prepare for future editions.

Who is in the project team and what are their roles?

Valentina Palermo, General Event Coordinator.

Daniela Godoy: Role, Creative Director.

Fabio Budris: Organizer.

  • Description: Reserve for unexpected expenses or costs not anticipated.

No dependencies.

How does the cost of the project represent value for money for the Cardano ecosystem?

  1. Connecting Communities:
  • We estimate attracting 20,000 participants to the event, which could result in a 25% increase in Cardano adoption among attendees.
  • Potential additional users: If each new user represents a $50 increase in Cardano's market value, this could generate an increase of $1,000,000 in market value.
  1. Showcasing Cardano's Capabilities:
  • Increasing interest from developers in Cardano could result in 50 new projects in the first year after the event.
  • If each project represents an average investment of $10,000, this would translate to a total investment of $500,000 in the ecosystem.
  1. Accelerating Adoption:
  • Increasing Cardano adoption by 20% among existing users, which could imply an increase of 100,000 users.
  • This could result in an increase of $5,000,000 in market capitalization if each additional user represents a $50 increase.
  1. Partnership Opportunities:
  • Establishing 10 new strategic partnerships with companies and developers.
  • Each partnership could generate $100,000 in additional revenue, totaling $1,000,000 in new revenue for Cardano.
  1. Knowledge Exchange and Skill Development:
  • Training 500 developers on using AI and blockchain technologies on Cardano.
  • Assuming each developer can contribute to a project generating $2,000 in additional revenue, this could result in $1,000,000 in revenue.
  1. Long-term Impact:
  • Projects arising from the event could contribute to a 5% annual increase in Cardano adoption over the next 5 years.
  • This could translate to an increase of $10,000,000 in Cardano's market value.
