Adosia Open Governance Model

Please describe your proposed solution.

The Adosia team will “Build in public” as we design our governance framework to establish our minimum viable ecosystem. We will release the entirety of our work product as an open source <https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0/> document and video series.

We will begin by performing an information gathering session and report on the current state of available governance frameworks from management, manufacturing, and information technology organizations.

Following this, the team will perform internal workshops to build our own initial governance framework. Then we’ll go for community input from all of the stakeholders in the community by participating in twitter spaces, after town halls, and youtube discussions to further refine the specification.

Lastly, we will deliver the full product, the governance framework that Adosia will utilize, as well as a retrospective with lessons learned and tips for other community teams that may want to build their own governance framework.

How does your proposed solution address the challenge and what benefits will this bring to the Cardano ecosystem?

We address the challenge by creating Tools for prospective organizations to use in evaluating the features available in Cardano DAO's. We feel that our proposal will show an iterative process for community members to assemble their own governance frameworks for projects, leading to a more successful deployment of additional DAOs utilizing Cardano.

How do you intend to measure the success of your project?

This project will be successful when it delivers the new governance framework for Adosia.

Please describe your plans to share the outputs and results of your project?

The outputs of this project will be documents that are licensed under the <https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0/> stored in a github repository. Additionally videos will be released on YouTube.

What is your capability to deliver your project with high levels of trust and accountability?

Adosia has delivered projects to the Cardano community since Fund 2. We are well positioned within the Cardano Community to deliver on our promises.

What are the main goals for the project and how will you validate if your approach is feasible?

The main goal of this project is to complete a governance framework for use in the governance of the Adosia DAO. We will validate our approaches through a build in public paradigm where every step is shared publicly and feedback is onboarded into every process.

Please provide a detailed breakdown of your project’s milestones and each of the main tasks or activities to reach the milestone plus the expected timeline for the delivery.

Milestone 1: Field Survey of available governance frameworks in Management, Manufacturing, and Information Technology.

Milestone 2: Internal Team Workshops to build our proposed framework

Milestone 3: Socialization of the proposed framework to gain community feedback and promote the beginnings of our minimum viable ecosystem.

Milestone 4: Finalization of our Adosia Governance Framework v 1.0

Final Milestone: Retrospective with lessons learned and a procedure for other Cardano communities to use to build their own governance framework.

Please describe the deliverables, outputs and intended outcomes of each milestone.

Milestone 1: A Report of the current state of governance frameworks across the three industries listed.

Milestone 2: A video summary of the internal team workshops, plus the full recorded sessions available for download.

Milestone 3: A video summary of the various community sessions, plus full recorded sessions available for download.

Milestone 4: A complete Governance Framework for Adosia DAO.

Milestone 5: A video summary of the process and a report including the procedures for building a governance framework.

How does the cost of the project represent value for money for the Cardano ecosystem?

The proposed project to develop a governance framework for the Adosia ecosystem has the potential to deliver significant value for money. The framework will help to ensure that the ecosystem is well-managed, that all stakeholders have a voice in its development, and that it remains sustainable over the long term. The framework will also be made available to other communities, so that they can benefit from the lessons learned by the Adosia team.

The project is expected to be completed within six months. The framework will be released as an open source document and video series, so that it can be used by other communities as well. The framework will also be promoted through the Adosia website and social media channels.

The value for money of the project can be measured in a number of ways. The framework will help to ensure that the Adosia ecosystem is well-managed, which will lead to increased efficiency and productivity. The framework will also help to attract new developers and users to the Cardano ecosystem, which will lead to increased economic activity. The framework will also be a valuable resource for other communities, which will help to promote the adoption of Adosia and Cardano.

Overall, the proposed project to develop a governance framework for the Adosia ecosystem has the potential to deliver significant value for money. The project is well-designed and well-funded, and the team has the experience and expertise to deliver the results.
