Solution

ADATOMS gives 100% Free TOP QUALITY Scientific and Financial education, securing all our educational content in the Cardano blockchain. This is done both in English and Spanish to maximize reach.

Problem

Most of the crypto and blockchain community is lacking the basic scientific, logic and Financial knowledge and abilities to have a healthy participation in the Cardano network. Education is the basis.

ADATOMS Science & DeFi FREE Ed.

Please describe your proposed solution.

My solution to this issue is a series of educational podcasts stored on the Cardano blockchain. The series go on about basic sciences, substance harm reduction, blockchain technology, basic financial knowledge, blockchain, DeFi and much more both in English and Spanish.

We already have published over 30+ hours of lectures on those topics, completely for free and they are for sure helping the Cardano community as a whole to up their game level. We have given to the community a good grasp of the scientific method and how to use it too.

I've been working for free all this time and to continue this valuable series would need your support.

Upcoming series topics include: Linguistics and Development; Gender and Science (both in Spanish and English!) and many more.

This whole work makes it easier for the blockchain community in general, and specially for EVM-based users and creators, to understand the power sustained by the scientific method powering Cardano and to understand why Cardano probably is the best alternative for their individual and collective projects.

Please describe how your proposed solution will address the Challenge that you have submitted it in.

My solution gives the much needed education that everyone requires and should have as a basic human right. In this manner, we can ensure that the crypto and blockchain community in general will have access to proper education and information, which should translate into better choices and more adoption of Scientific Method based protocols like Cardano.

One of the main Walls devs are faced when trying to migrate to Cardano or understand its community, is a lack of understanding of what the scientific method is and why Cardano has decided to take this approach for its development. Financial knowledge is also vastly scarce, even inside the blockchain developers community. Securing top quality financial education for all our users and developers should be one of the top tier objectives for the Cardano community in the short and long term, to ensure a democratic and just participation in the protocol.

Also, we already have the NFTs minting and the lectures available for free on pool.pm/$sciences , and we are planning on creating much more educational content with your support.

What are the main risks that could prevent you from delivering the project successfully and please explain how you will mitigate each risk?

The main risk this project faces is the lack of funding for continuing its work. Up until now we have been working completely for free, only having some community members support us via the minting of our NFTs, but all our educational content is completely for FREE and we do not partake in any type of marketing campaign to boost our sales. We are working mostly our of love for science and education. The PhD I'm currently studying also takes a good bunch of my time, allowing me less flexibility in financial terms for other activities.

In the worst case scenario, I would still be able to diverge funds from my personal life into the development of ADATOMS, but as stated above, I'm still a student and I'd could very much use your help.

Please provide a detailed plan, including timeline and key milestones for delivering your proposal.

We have already developed and delivered A LOT of value to the Cardano community!

We will keep working as we have done. If we receive the funding you could expect to have a new podcast series finished every 3 months. That would mean generating 2 complete podcasts series up to the end of this year, with weekly episodes.

After 3 months of funding: A full series on sciences, but on spanish should be ready and deployed for the community.

After 6 months of funding: A full series on the philosophy of sciences and knowledge, in english.

Please provide a detailed budget breakdown.

I'm currently requesting 7.000 USD for developing my project for whats left of this year.

1.000 USD will be spent on techwear to up the quality of my work and will be spent in some of the following assets:

  • Pro Camera and Microphone
  • iPhone
  • Fix or replace my PC
  • iPad

The rest 6.000 USD will be used to paying the development team and partially paying the team bills for this year (currently struggling hard on that), this includes:

  • Electricity and Basic services
  • Rent

The teams payment has been approximately set to be half of the minimum wage in our country (Chile), for the next 6 months.

Having this extra inflow of money will allows us to keep working with a little bit stress over our shoulders. Please be mindful of this, as your support means the world to us at this stage.

Not funding this proposal could mean that another Cardano scientists will be struggling in his everyday life while attempting to get his PhD. Also, it would mean that a good bridge between Cardano-Ethereum would be left alone and without support. We have to keep educating people if we want them to realize the true power of what Cardano and scientific backed development represent.

I WILL NOT STOP WORKING THOUGH. I love what I do, I love what I've created with ADATOMS and it really touches me how much impact I've had in the community and the way in which they see the universe and themselves.

Please provide details of the people who will work on the project.

  • Currently working in one NFT project (ADATOMS) and one DeFi project (BEAR & APES YIELD CLUB)

If you are funded, will you return to Catalyst in a later round for further funding? Please explain why / why not.

If we are funded we dont plan on applying for more catalyst funding in the near future as this proposal should cover 6 months of our operations. We could come back in the next year though for securing more innovation in the Cardano ecosystem!

Please describe what you will measure to track your project's progress, and how will you measure these?

The indicators for progress in for this Proposal are very simple to keep track of and understand, they are the following:

1) Number of listener/viewers for our lectures

2) Hours of lectures and community conversations delivered and uploaded to the Cerdano blockchain

3) Number of voice spaces created and hosted for the community

4) Number of educational assets available for free in the pool.pm/$sciences wallet

At the end it will be very easy to measure if what was promise was achieved. If I get the funding, at the end of this year I will have AT LEAST produced 2 new educational series for the Cardano community, accounting for more than over 15+ new lectures in NFT format, free to access, open for everyone and

What does success for this project look like?

Success for ADATOMS looks like a Cardano community that understannds the bascis of the scientific method and the basics of finances, becoming each day more resilient to bad-actors and scammers. Success for ADATOMS means that the Cardano community is well aware of the academic and educational capabilities of the blockchain technology, rather than just its financial capabilities.

That being said, I would like to state that ADATOMS is already successful. We have inspired Cardano users to start studying sciences, we have developed and innovated in terms of NFT and FT metadata for educational purposes, we have published the first scientific academic research to be published completely in blockchain metadata, and we have secured a wallet full of educational assets for all the Cardano and the whole blockchain community. And this has all been without any type of funding. Image what we could do with your support!

Please provide information on whether this proposal is a continuation of a previously funded project in Catalyst or an entirely new one.

This project has never been funded by Catalyst.
