Please define the positive impact your project will have on the wider Cardano community.

As one of the first games projects at Project Catalyst, <u>we have acted as ambassadors</u> within the games industry since Fund5.

We've been developing AdaQuest ever since with the message –> make people have fun and make them stay!

Put more simply;

We onboard players and developers to Cardano!

> (see our latest cooperation with an IndieStudio: TRISTOPIA)

> FUND10 Gaming Proposal

But we want to achieve MORE f<u>or the Cardano ecosystem</u> and finally attract more users from the classic gaming community!

Therefore we need progress and Free2Play as mechanics in our mobile ARENA game.

Tournaments bring exactly these features. <u>It is quickly implemented and costs less than 56K ADA.</u>

With this integration, the added value is more than given for the Cardano ecosystem.

What is your capability to deliver your project with high levels of trust and accountability? How do you intend to validate if your approach is feasible?

We continue to develop as best we can, even in these difficult times.

AdaQuest has already brought us to the attention of Cardano community leaders.

We are known to the Project Catalyst leadership team and regularly use the weekly Town Hall to share our progress.

So far, we have done a very good job of staying free of any major negative news.

Our mobile ARENA alpha and dungeon crawler prototype have shown that we are at least publishing <u>the projects we are developing and not just leaving them as concepts on paper!</u>

As you will see further in the proposal, all team members have made their LinkedIn profiles public. Red Potion Studios is a registered entity.

<u>After a long journey we finally decide to build AdaQuest on this three Pillars to ensure ongoing development in the future</u>

Pillar 1 (Captain Obvious):

  • The player chooses one of the 25 different tribes and chooses his destiny path based on a hero (NFT), which he will be able to use in ALL three phases of the game. A total of 125 different destinies are available with unique values and different editions.
  • Our approach is different from the current web3 gaming market. We break the cult –> the more money you spend, the stronger your character becomes.
  • Our unique characters are defined solely by their edition (small edition == higher value), the special design (small edition == more detailed design) and their effective abilities (small edition == special effects/abilities).
  • Character values are created balanced, fair and unique by our own generator.

Pillar 2 (Rivalry == Tension)

  • With our fully automated tournament system, players will be able to choose between free (win in-game items & titles) and premium tournaments.
  • Premium tournaments will offer sponsors or small to high monetary prizes. Just think of poker tournaments that offer a corresponding prize pool depending on the buy-in. The buy-ins will generate additional income.
  • In some cases you will be able to bet on the outcome of these tournaments

Pillar 3 (user generated content)

  • We will develop an editor that will allow players to create adventures, items, maps, characters and various other game content.
  • After appropriate coordination and verification, the content will be offered on an AdaQuest marketplace and guarantee income not only for the creator but also for us as a company (royalties)
  • Titles such as Roblox or the Minecraft marketplace have made this concept popular

What are the key milestones you need to achieve in order to complete your project successfully?

Since the UX/UI and Game Design for this mechanic are already done the most work has to be done by our coders

Milestone 1 - Two Sprints (2 weeks each)

  • Sprint 1
  • Integrating F2P Basic Player (Coding)
  • Bugfixing (Coding)
  • Polishing visuals & UI (Art+Coding)
  • Module testing (Testing)
  • Sprint 2
  • Integrating Basic Items & Gadget Shop (Coding)
  • Bugfixing (Coding)
  • Polishing visuals, UI, and assets (Art+Coding)
  • Module testing (Testing)

>Milestone 2 - Two Sprints (2 weeks each)

  • Sprint 1
  • Implementing Tournament mode (Coding)
  • Implementing Player Profile & Achievements (Coding)
  • Polishing visuals, UI, and assets (Art+Coding)
  • Sprint 2
  • Final Testing (Testing)
  • Conduct comprehensive testing of the mechanic, including all implemented features
  • Fix any remaining bugs or issues.
  • Final Bug Fixing (Coding)
  • Final Polishing visuals, Ui, and assets if needed(Art)

>After the testing, bug fixing and polishing phase (see Milestone 2) the final Milestone will be releasing the Tournament module to the public and overwatch this process.

Milestone 1 - Basic Player & Items

Deliverables:

  • Basic Player option inside the game is selectable
  • Basic Items & Gadgets are available within the in-game shop
  • Full Ingame shop functionality
  • Visuals are polished
  • No Crypto Wallet is needed to play!

<u>Outcome: New game Version without the need for NFTs - Onboarding new players</u>

Milestone 2 - Tournament mode & Player profile

Deliverables:

  • Free Tournament mode selectable
  • Premium Tournament mode selectable
  • Player Performance Profile(stats) viewable
  • Achievements, Badges, Title viewable
  • All Visuals from both milestones are finalized
  • All bugs are fixed
  • Testing is finalized

<u>Outcome: New game Version with our first monetization (Premium Tournaments)</u>

Who is in the project team and what are their roles?

<u>Strategic Advisor & Founder:</u> Marcin worked in marketing, sales, and project management for THQ, Ubisoft, CI Games, Daedalic Entertainment, and Rockstar. In the past 10 years, he has helped some start-ups in their initial phase, and he will also provide guidance for the Cardano gaming community, as well! (LinkedIn: <https://www.linkedin.com/in/marcin-kugla-a92b5964>)

<u>Art Direction:</u> Christian is our Illustrator and UX Designer with more than 15 years of professional work in digital art, gamification, interface- and app design in the industry. Starting as a big fan of the classic "point & click" adventures (e.g., Monkey Island, Beneath a Steel Sky, Day of the Tentacle) on DOS and hoarding tons of comic books, he turned his geek hobby into an ever-expanding full-time job! (LinkedIn: <https://www.linkedin.com/in/christian-hayungs-9ba22457>)

<u>Game Design & Balancing:</u> Alex worked as a creative director at Ubisoft's campus and as lead developer of Faith and Honor Barbarossa. He has considerable experience researching psychological and neurological sweet spots in game-based learning. Simon Latusek - Backend - <https://www.linkedin.com/in/simon-latusek-094728143/>

Please provide a cost breakdown of the proposed work and resources.

<u>Milestone 1 Budget Breakdown - 4 weeks</u>

1 Project Manager part-time == 1500$

1 Backend Coder part-time == 2000$

1 Frontend Coder full-time == 3000$

1 UI/UX Designer part-time == 1500$

2 Testers part-time == 1000$

<u>Milestone 1 Budget Breakdown - 4 weeks</u>

1 Project Manager part-time == 1500$

1 Backend Coder part-time == 2000$

1 Frontend Coder full-time == 3000$

1 UI/UX Designer part-time == 1500$

2 Testers part-time == 1000$

Additional testers will be early adopters & community members = free

<u>Additional: ADA prices include a 20% margin for volatility - this will be added on top </u>

OVERALL BUDGET incl. taxes + Ada volatility needed 21,645$ == 55,500 ADA (0,39$/ADA)

How does the cost of the project represent value for money for the Cardano ecosystem?

The value to the Cardano ecosystem is actually settled with the question of mass adoption.

Because this is exactly what our game project delivers –> Increased attention in the classic web2 gaming community.

The fact that we make it as easy as possible for gamers to get in touch with blockchain can be added to that as well.

Finally, we are also ambassadors at various events, presenting the benefits of digital ownership with Cardano. All this together is cheaper and sometimes more effective than a multi-million marketing campaign :)
