NOW we like to implement some quick & nice ways to GRIND every day for some FRAGMENTS! It will be the first version of our PVE QUEST mode

<u>What are Fragments?</u><u> </u><u>Game Design definition:</u><u></u>

Fragments – Collected through gameplay, not tradeable, and used for basic items and gadgets.

Since you will play a lot of tournaments, adventures, duels, etc. <u>YOU will need a lot of gadgets like:</u>

  • Health potions
  • Poison & other fluids
  • Helpful items
  • Magic stuff
  • Mysterious gear

As mentioned above these fragments ARE <u>only available through gameplay</u> and YOU will need them! So, we will implement NOW a daily mode where you will choose from three different enemies and try to beat them:

  • Easy Bot: –> You can win 5 fragments
  • Normal Bot: –> You can win 7 fragments BUT also lose 3
  • Hard Bot: –> You can win 10 fragments BUT also lose 4

1st Version features: Max 3x rounds per day possible –> More tries buyable with ADA or/and QTS! –> Monetizing mechanic

  • Same rules as PVP ARENA –> Each round YOU just knock the Bot down!
  • The bot has its own abilities/or mirrored character abilities
  • Weekly Fragments Leader board
  • Each Week the Top 3 Players receive extra Fragments & $QTS (additional Stuff depends on coop partners –> NFTs, Meme coins, etc.)

How does your proposed solution address the challenge and what benefits will this bring to the Cardano ecosystem?

As one of the first games projects at Project Catalyst, we have acted as ambassadors within the games industry since Fund5.

We've been developing AdaQuest ever since with the message –> make people have fun and make them stay!

Put more simply;

We onboard players and developers to Cardano!

But we want to achieve MORE for the Cardano ecosystem and finally attract more users from the classic gaming community! Therefore we need to add some daily grind mechanics in our mobile ARENA game.

The Snake Pit is exactly the feature for a CASUAL Gamer who doesn´t like to play PVP only

It is quickly implemented and costs less than 15K$.

With this integration, the added value is more than given for the Cardano ecosystem.

How do you intend to measure the success of your project?

<u>The KPIs for this project are the standard in the mobile gaming industry.</u>

We need the following indicators to measure our success:

Overall registered users since Sanke Pit launch @ada-quest.com (ORU)

Daily active users (DAU)

Weekly Snake Pit players (WSP)

Monthly active users (MAU)

Monthly paying users (MPU)

Additionally from now on, we will measure as well the developers, partners, and sponsors we bring to the Cardano Community. Which we never have done before!

Please describe your plans to share the outputs and results of your project?

Since our team is publicly known and doesn't hide behind any weird pictures ;) We will communicate news via Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn or Facebook. We also like to be present at the Catalyst Town Halls and tell about the progress.

In addition, we plan to use YouTube and Twitch or Kick streams to inform the community about the progress of the project and the final result.

Of course, we will continue to attend various Indie Developer events to continue preaching the benefits of game development on Cardano!

Last but not least, we will use our Discord Server to spread the word about the development and interact with the community. Join us ALREADY today!

What is your capability to deliver your project with high levels of trust and accountability?

We continue to develop as best we can, even in these difficult times.

AdaQuest has already brought us to the attention of Cardano community leaders.

<u>We are known to the Project Catalyst leadership</u> team and regularly use the weekly Town Hall to share our progress.

So far, we have done a very good job of staying free of any major negative news.

Our mobile ARENA alpha and dungeon crawler prototype have shown that we are at least publishing <u>the projects we are developing and not just leaving them as concepts on paper!</u>

As you will see further in the proposal, all team members have made their LinkedIn profiles public. Red Potion Studios is a registered entity.

What are the main goals for the project and how will you validate if your approach is feasible?

Our main goals for the project are definitely to increase the number of Daily active AdaQuest users by more than 50%. We hope to achieve this with this <u>Casual game mode.</u>

The tournament mechanics and especially the possibility for classic players without crypto knowledge to test AdaQuest should increase the number of users.

Ultimately, this will lead to higher revenue in the medium term, allowing us to increase our development budget without having to rely on additional funding.

Since the UX/UI and Game Design for this mechanic are already done the most work has to be done by our coders

November 2023 - Milestone 1 - Two Sprints (2 weeks each) -

Sprint 1

  • Integrating PVE Snake Pit enemies (Coding)
  • Integrating different Bot difficulties
  • Bugfixing (Coding)
  • Polishing visuals & UI (Art+Coding)
  • Module testing (Testing)

Sprint 2

  • Integrating Snake Pit Fragment rewards(Coding)
  • Bugfixing (Coding)
  • Polishing visuals, UI, and assets (Art+Coding)

Milestone 1 - Snake Pit PVE game integration

Deliverables:

  • Quest mode is active and selectable
  • Players can choose from three different challenges
  • Easy Bot, Normal Bot, Hard Bot
  • Fragments are collected or lost and displayed
  • Rewards depend on the difficulty
  • Visuals are polished
  • Conduct comprehensive testing of the mechanic, including all implemented features
  • All bugs are fixed
  • Testing is finalized

1 Backend Coder part-time == 1750$

1 Frontend Coder full-time == 3000$

1 UI/UX Designer part-time == 1500$

1 Game Designer part-time == 1000$

2 Testers part-time == 800$

Additional testers will be early adopters & community members = free

Additional: ADA prices include a 20% margin for volatility - this will be added on top

OVERALL BUDGET incl. taxes + Ada volatility + round up 15,000$ == 50,000 ADA (0,3$/ADA)

<u>Strategic Advisor & Founder:</u> Marcin worked in marketing, sales, and project management for THQ, Ubisoft, CI Games, Daedalic Entertainment, and Rockstar. In the past 10 years, he has helped some start-ups in their initial phase, and he will also provide guidance for the Cardano gaming community, as well! How does the cost of the project represent value for money for the Cardano ecosystem?

The value to the Cardano ecosystem is actually settled with the question of mass adoption.

Because this is exactly what our game project delivers –> Increased attention in the classic web2 gaming CASUAL community. Easy access and easy to play!

The fact that we make it as easy as possible for gamers to get in touch with blockchain can be added to that as well.

Finally, we are also ambassadors at various events, presenting the benefits of digital ownership with Cardano. All this together is cheaper and sometimes more effective than a multi-million marketing campaign :)
