We had some issues in the beginning due to a fund reallocation from the Cardashift team. We came to an agreement and the milestones have been adjusted accordingly. In this month we have concentrated our efforts in this adjustment and also in the selection of consultants to help us with the impact assessment of our activities. We have created an open tender, and we have pre-selected 7 consulting firms/individuals. We have interviewed each of them, and we have chosen one. Now we are setting up a contract and getting ready for the initial joint analysis of data. We already have a plan with a good methodology provided by the consulting firm, and it will be implemented from next month on.
We haven't started the project yet. We are awaiting the Cardashift team to conduct the onboarding and instruct us about payments, guidelines and etc. In the meantime, we have started to contact potential consultants to help us with the impact assessment part. And we are preparing internally to dedicate our staff's time to this project.
The project is concluded, and final report is sent. I'm sending the monthly report just because I wasn't sure if it's necessary for accounting. The content of the final report will be accessible via the shared google drive folder.
We are in the final stage of content creation, when 80% of this part is concluded. And we are in about 30% of the designing phase completed. It means that although we had some issues in the beginning, now we are able to put the project back on its major goals, and we are getting ready to the final sprint when we publish all the guides (websites that are our main product). We foresee some difficulties to establish a good communication plan and an effective outreach, but in the next month we will be working on that matter in parallel with the designing phase.
After we decided to split the phases of content creation and design, the project started to become a bit easier to manage. And we are happy with the fact that our design team will work on all guides together, because this gives some uniformity and speed for the project. We will start planning the communication of the guides (planned for late September) and we are doing our best to recover the delays that happened in the initial stages. We also suffered some financial losses due to the recent price fluctuation, and we are working on strategies to avoid any damage to the proposal deliverables. The content creation is pretty much still in progress. We had many issues on finding the right authors and kicking off each of the 11 guides. However, now we are relatively recovering the time spent on this process. We were hit by the price fluctuation, and we still need to make sure that we will be able to recover the partial losses from May. We have built our public dashboard to track our progress: https://datastudio.google.com/reporting/74cfc4a3-a4ed-4ef6-83c2-d84eda31c446/page/p_nrdxtm0ntc
We are currently in the stage of selecting authors for the educational content creation. Therefore, no visible progress, as we are hiring personnel and creating guidelines. However, we are on track from what we have planned so far.
