The future of Cardano is bright
We have two ambassadors for Mulca. They cover Swahili and Spanish for their languages. We are brainstorming together to see where we can go over the next months. We will at least open up language telegram channels for people to follow news, maybe more. Furthermore, we have already created a logo + visual identity and condensed this into a Mulca brand book + assets for the ambassadors to create things on their own. I could not upload it via this document though. This is our draft landing page: https://www.educhainment.com/mulca
We sat together as a team and redrew the roadmap to try to get better at setting feasible deadlines. Our new goal is to get to a working playground until July this year. We will have some base language content ready this week and will probably close out with this and acknowledge our shortcomings. The MVP has changed both on the attributes and the deadline, the latter targeted for the end of August and thus being included in our follow-up proposal closeout for Fund 8.
Yes, we are still working to produce something showable to close out the fund. This will be the presentation of the first iteration of our playground, which lets us and our language ambassadors easily build levels and dialogues. If everything goes to plan, we will close out the project for fund 6 in May. At this point, we are designing our discord to make it suitable for community contribution and are starting to build our own gamified content and contribution management on a separate Aedou website to enhance accessibility and work flows. I am also in contact with the entrepeneurship centre at my local university to aquire more secured off-Catalyst funding for prototype and business plan development.
Yes, I am in talks with Darlington from lidonation.com about collaborating, which already has lots of good education resources around Cardano that we want to refine, reference and make available to more people through localizing the content and searching together for a nice method to map the ecosystem. He also developed a nice translation plugin to easily translate content from the database and we want to bring our ambassadors into the lidonation community to provide translations and articles and grow the available content. We also have found our first language ambassador - Evans Kisanga for Swahili! Furthermore, I have talked with LATAM-translator representives to find ambassadors for spanish and portugues out of their community. The next steps are to approach language communities from the Eastern Townhall and Catalyst School to partner and showcase their content/make it more available. We have paid $600 to the designer for logo and website graphics to come. The incentive schedule for the ambassadors is still $200 per month until the funds run out (projected in 6-9 months).
We just completed Catalyst Boost Camp and had to stretch out our plans a bit, due to this and not getting funding in fund 7 (so we had to focus harder on proposal writing for fund 8 and to make us investable). We are currently building up the channel-structure for our own community-discord to start building up language ressources and channel community efforts. We hope to finish our first playground version until the 10th of April. Either way, we will present our outcomes in the next month.
We have settled to create a multilingual discord for infos and connections in 14 languages. We will use most of the funds to pay mods for up to 6 months. It's name is "MULCA-hub". This in an invitation link to get a first glimpse (still needs work): https://discord.gg/a8vKY2Cv
