We have been meeting biweekly and narrowed down which PBL modules we should do and the format we should do them in. We also made some updates to the documents we created so far. We are also meeting weekly to make improvements to our internal processes and identifying the strengths within our group. We realized we had to make a few internal changes to accomodate this new project and the new direction this group wants to take in the future.
Since initial funding we have been working on setting up internal structures to support our work flow and to maximize participation. Two primary documents that have been our focus thus far include our Code of Conduct and our Decision Making Process Framework. The reason we are focusing on these first is that they will form the basis for how we interact not only as a team, but also what other teams can expect from us when collaborating. Given our recent experience with the Catalyst Circle and community governance, we believe that these are necessary to operate smoothly. Additional activities that we have completed during this initial stage is the creation of a Twitter account for our group, the integration of github and dework with our discord so we can set up bounties and track our efforts. We are also in the process of integrating our progress into Canvas so we can use our learnings as the basis for the Problem Based Learning modules we will be developing for community governance.
