As we're approaching the completion of the PoC, this month we've been focusing on getting the last components deployed. And now that we've completed and begun testing of the ingestion system, we've now deployed everything to production for testing.
We're finishing up the user console for V1 of the Aegis Service. We believe we need to have the proposed project completed (along with the project completion report) for the final release of funds, but nonetheless want to keep the Catalyst community updated on our progress. We expect the technical side of the project will be done in 1 - 2 weeks, and the marketing outreach component to be completed in additional 1 - 3 weeks.
We have been working on Argus' database schema for integrating Ethereum NFTs into the existing (CNFT) database. And we've also ingested some Ethereum NFT data as a test of our ingestion PoC for ingesting Ethereum NFTs.
This months we've been updating our internal database structure to support the integration of Ethereum NFTs.
In the past month we have:
- hooked up Aegis (Profolio Service) with Argus (VeraNFT) core
- prepared an email template for notifications
- designed messaging solution between Argus and Aegis.
We expect to be able to complete the beta version of Aegis (Profolio Service) in the next 2 - 3 weeks, and for the remainder of the marketing research on the project to be completed by the end of November or early in December.
Our team has been focused on two main objectives during the past month. Completing the Aegis (portfolio protection) console, which is required to offer the service that our proposal centers around, and to improve our core, Machine Learning protocol with a change to the system architecture that will significantly reduce the time it takes for newly minted NFTs to be indexed by our image similarity protocol, effectively eliminating a potential weakness of the protocol. The console should be completed sometime in October. And the change in architecture to reduce indexing time should hopefully be completed by the end of September.
This past month development has focused on Aegis, the console by which 1) B2B partners can manage their Argus (API) accounts - look at metrics, flag false negatives, do manual overrides of Argus, etc., and a branch of this console will also be the Aegis asset protection service, which we'll be working on for the next month, and will be the last major development component needed for the successful completion of the proposal.
I'm attaching several images showing the ongoing development of the Aegis console.
This month we focused our development capacity on the completion of our (beta) console for our SaaS partners using the Argus API, as well as completing our integration with JPG Store, the leading NFT marketplace on Cardano.
These developments position us to fine tune Argus' (called VeraNFT in our F8 proposal) ML model, and to soon begin work on the image registration and notification center needed for Aegis' (Named Profolio Protection in our F8 proposal) launch.
Thus far the rollout of these services is going according to plan, and on schedule.
I believe I already submitted a report early in June, but am submitting this in confirmation that our project remains on track and slightly ahead of schedule.
We are requesting $52,250 for the first funding period. Our rationale for requesting this amount is as follows:
We started development in February and the expected delivery date is the end of November or before - a 10 month development period to complete the entire project.
We’re requesting $104,500 for the entire project, which equates to monthly instalments of $10,450.
We did not receive any funds when the first batch of funds were released.
We are currently on track and at the end of June that is the 5th month of work. Hence we would like to request $52,250.
At https://argusnft.com/ you can see and try out an alpha version of our tool that detects copy (i.e. potentially counterfeit) NFTs, which makes up a significant portion of the work we’ve accomplished over the past four months.
Please let us know if there's anything else you need from us to justify this larger instalment.
We are requesting $41,800 for the first funding period. Our rationale for requesting this amount is as follows:
